Bring a lunch, join the book group at Grace Lutheran Many lament the decline of Christianity in Europe and in North America. Is the Church in danger? No, writes Philip Jenkins, in his book The Next Christendom. Jenkins argues that because of the explosion of Christianity in Africa and Asia, the Church will continue to grow, but will likely change and develop in some drastic ways. What might be on the horizon for believers in the twenty-first century? How can we North American members of the body of Christ faithfully walk with our global brothers and sisters? Join the book group in the fellowship hall Monday, February 26th at noon as we begin our discussion of Jenkins' book. Vicar Nathan will be facilitating the conversation, and you can contact him (gracevicar@gmail.com; 264-2206), or Ann Kelly ( kelly4100@bellsouth.net ) with any questions you might have.
