Student Parking FAQ

Parking Information for 2018-2019 will be posted by the end of the Spring Semester (2018)

  • Is student parking available for Spring 2018?

As of  1/3/18 we are  sold out for Spring 2018.
(should any spaces become available, we will update this website.)

If you purchased a permit for the Academic Year (2017-2018), you do not need a new permit for Spring 2018.

  • How do I apply for parking?

For SEMESTER (Spring ’18) parking, fill out the PARKING AGREEMENT“(click to download) and deliver it to St. Luke’s with your payment.  (cash or check only)     Checks payable to:  St. Luke’s Episcopal Church

This may be done in person, OR by mail beginning Tuesday, December 19.
Spaces will be sold on a first come first serve basis.  Applications/payments will be processed in the order they arrive in our office–whether in person or by mail.   If applying by mail, you will be notified via email if you have secured a space.
(You may enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your permit to be mailed to you over the winter break or you may pick-up the permit at the Church Office upon your return to Boone in January.)

  • Do I have an assigned parking spot?
No.  You may park in any of the spots marked “Permit Parking Only” and other designated students spots

Please DO NOT PARK in spaces reserved for “St. Luke’s Church Parking” or in the spots owned by “Crosspoint Community Church” in the lower lot near EarthFare.
  • Can I park in the lot spot 24/7?

No. Parking hours are 4pm Sunday through 11:59pm Friday. Vehicles CANNOT BE LEFT IN THE LOT OVER THE WEEKEND.

*exception–the 10 parking spots in the lower lot (along tree line, close to EarthFare).  Cars parked in these spots do not have to be moved,  as  the spots are not typically used by the church on weekends.

NOTE:  most of the lower lot is owned by Crosspoint Community Church— DO NOT PARK IN THEIR SPACES. YOU MAY BE TOWED.

  • Can my friend/significant other/family member/acquaintance park in my spot?

No. The parking permit is only valid for the vehicle registered with us.

  • What about football game day parking?

Students may leave their cars in the lot on game days, but MUST MOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY

If it is a NIGHT GAME– CARS MUST BE MOVED BY MIDNIGHT the night of the game.
*There may be rare exceptions to this policy.  If the church is having a special event, such as a funeral, we may need you to remove your car on a game day.  You will be notified as early as possible (at least 24 hours in advance) via email should this situation arise.

  • I have a question that hasn’t been answered here, who should I contact?

Direct other questions or concerns to Church Office at admin@stlukesboone.org or call 828-264-8943.
